Internal tremors?

I remember how odd and scary it was when occasional vibrations in my legs and feet changed to tremoring throughout my entire body. Sometimes subtle, other times I’m truly surprised that others aren’t able to feel it or see it.

It’s challenging to describe the constant beyond irritating buzzing. It feels like my body is on vibrate. It 1st occurred during covid when appointments became virtual. Doctor had no suggestions. People from ms world made me feel like I was overreacting. It’s just another weird physical issue that comes with my ms.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this and also sorry that other MS people couldn't be supportive. I don't get tremors, but I've certainly had irritating vibrations. Mine don't last very long, but I've discovered that a partial cause is certain noises, like the neighbors mowing grass or running a chainsaw. If I use something like a mixer or vacuum, I frequently have to stop quickly because their vibration moves internally and drives me nuts.

Noises definitely intensify it. Adds pulsating vibrations on top of tremors. Tinnitus is constant as well. Wake up with it now. I wear noise cancellation headphones and sunglasses. Diagnosed 1995.

I feel like I may have experienced the vibration in the early days but it seems like a distant memory. ( strange how some things seem like a distant memory a little more often these days) I have have had tinnitus for many years but finally did a hearing test last fall and got hearing aids( Widex) the end of last year..I did a bunch of research on it before purchasing and found this brand was able to cancel a good percentage of the tinnitus..plus they have really helped me with the hearing loss as well

I've had vibrating in my legs which was very disconcerting. Sometimes I feel like these sensory things are basically my MS reaching out with a cold, evil finger to poke me. Just to let me know it's there, and it's not done with me.

I'm sorry for your nasty symptoms.

Try L-theanine, saffron, baby aspirin, and GABA supplements. Noble Aidaspirin brand has no corn syrup - important to cut out corn syrup; get veggie capsules, avoid additives; cut out beef and pork; increase eggs...

I love the drawing. It's exactly how I feel when I'm trying to explain anything! The lose of words is so frustrating.

Glad you understand. I was an educated medical professional before being forced to medically retire. You wouldn’t know it by the way I attempt to get my point across.

Peace be with you my ms Friend! 🫧✌️🌎

Very few of us have the right vocabulary needed to express our symptoms. I have struggled for years to describe what I feel using non-clinical terms like creaking, fuzzy, floppy...and have been ignored or dismissed by some of the doctors I've attempted to communicate with. A few have made me feel like the back end of your horse illustration. It's only here in the MS community that I have learned some of the clinical terms to describe what I feel/sense/hear inside.

I detest it when they ask the archaic 1-10 pain level and to describe my pain in a word.

Not possible.

I tell them it varies every minute of every day and I and just try to manage it as best as I can to stay as stable as possible,

My pain words are burning, stabbing, pulsating, throbbing, achy, vibrating, tremoring, shooting, pressure, itching, cramping, light sound & touch sensitivity, etcetera, etcetera.

Hope today is a good day for whoever is reading this! 🫧✌️🌎

I have internal tremors in my chest/torso area in the evenings. It is scary. Makes my heartbeat faster, too.

I have internal vibrations, but nowhere near as extensive as you experience them. I used to put my husband's hand on my leg and was surprised he couldn't feel anything. I told my doctor it felt similar to a cell phone vibrating in my pocket. It also feels like bees buzzing. It isn't painful, but it is annoying. I am able to ignore it more during the day. When I get into bed I notice it more. Both legs vibrating, buzzing away. I need to distract myself in order to fall asleep. All this to say, I can relate!
