Great appt with the neuro today

He ran through the same old tests. Everything is stable. Ocrevus is doing its job - no new lesion, no active lesion.

I feel much better than prior to DX 18 months ago. Fatigue is mostly gone.

He said that we could schedule appointments only once every 9-12 months rather than every 6 months unless something changes.

For me, Ocrevus is probably only going to be every 9-12 months because it does too much damage to my immune system but I have not side effects whatsoever.

Next stop is blood test in Feb/Mar 2020. Next Ocrevus infusion sometimes after. MRI in July 2020 and neuro visit already scheduled for Oct 2020.

I told the neuro that one of the best comments he ever made to me was "you have a lot of lesions in your brain but they are in areas that have a lot of redundancy". So I believe I have to be proactive with my recovery and help my brain create new pathways around the lesions through physical and brain exercises while Ocrecus does its job at stopping the inflammation. Our brain is plastic, we need to take advantage of it. Don't give up.
