Between MRIs and Dr appts, and changing my meds, I have been not been my happy self.
So here is the latest, last MRI showed a new lesion on c5 along with degenerative arthritis in the same area. Being sent to a neurosurgeon because it's worse and could crush my spinal cord. Great news.
Neuro said that's what caused my leg to do its thing. Ya think? Anyway, I told him I'm going back on my antidepressants. I can't deal!! There is a reason why I was prescribed them!!!
Welcome to all the new family members! ☺️ I hope to talk to you soon!
Love n miss you all 🤗💕

TY! And I tried telling him there was a reason why I was on such a high dose! But no. He wanted to cut them, big mistake!😔 It's been 6wks. I'm taking um back!😀😂🤗💕
So glad to hear that you will be back on the antidepressants. Would you take insulin away from a diabetic? No! Just make sure you're being refused slowly. I ran out of one of mine on vacation (I know, poor planning on my part) and wanted a RF but the med nurse said I couldn't. I was frustrated but when meeting w/the psych nurse she reminded me that it can cause a syndrome that causes severe rash and could end up on a burn unit!
Beautiful. I'm sorry for your news. Keep us posted.
Thank you for letting us know. We e all been wondering how you are. I’m hate hearing about the new lesion, but hope that the Ocrevus will keep them at bay.
Thank God for antidepressants! Feel better soon. Thanks for sharing the great diAmond art project. It’s amazing that you could do that!
I am happy to hear from you, and your diamond art pandas are too cute! How do you keep the dog and cat away from it?
Ocrevus has its place as being a DMT that is a part of managing this 'ms'. You just received your first couple of doses, right? Give it some time. I have heard that it takes some time, 12 months or longer, before it starts to do its intended job. Be patient.
I am happy that you and your doctor have found what ails you. It can now be addressed.
So sorry to hear of a lesion on C5. I hope the neurosurgeon can figure out how to take care of it and keep you comfortable in the process and that you will have sunshine and moonbeams of joy for the craved for "no more surprises!" Love and hugs! And the 💎 art is gorgeous!
I’m sorry to hear about the new lesion and your degenerative arthritis becoming worse. I really hope the neurosurgeon can help prevent something worse from happening to your spinal cord. You’re in my thoughts and prayers!
I will NEVER stop my antidepressants! In fact they even added one for me. There are some things so ingrained in my psyche that will never pry loose (even tho' people poo poo those thoughts).
Your good thought should be that they found it. They're going to fix it. You will have a stay in the hospital where people will wait on you and bring you food and you are not expected to do anything but get better! (Sounds like a dream to me...)
