I had a doctor visit today for lab blood report and I'am low on iron and vitamin D. So this is what is going on and I'am not concerned because this has happened before. it goes up and down like this.
any how I was seen a week ago I went to the neurologist and he did the blood work on me and sent that report to my PCP. And I was told I needed to follow up with the PCP and that was today. So no cancer or anything of which I'am grateful for. Have a great day!
That's good news that your blood work shows things that can be easily remedied! I do hope the treatment will help you feel better overall and give you some more pep In your step.
Low iron can affect energy levels, and Vitamin D is essential for so much cell activity. As these are addressed, your optimism and activity will probably rebound. Sounds like you are in good hands with your PCP and neuro!
ask the dr.,but as far as vitamin D,my doctor put me on 50.000 units of the vitamin.I take one pill a week,it is a prescription and according to my pharma a very common one,and inexpensive.According to my dr.,ms.patients should never go below 65% on vitamin d
Glad that something was found and that it is not serious and can easily be remedied. My family doc ran the test for my vitamin d levels after I was first dxed and I was VERY low so I was on prescription dose for a month, then 1,000 iu twice a day ever since and my levels have stayed in a good range ever since.
