Is there anybody out there that knows the answer to this question. Do we get people who are brand new, newly diagnosed (newbies) joining our family or are they mostly people who have been travelling a while that join us? I remembered my experience was that I found this family after many years on this journey. Maybe you were not around so much back then. Anyway I am curious so if anybody can help I would appreciate it.

I found this site after a dozen years or so of my journey with 'ms'. It is nice to be with other members who know what this 'ms' can be like. I have found a lot of support here. Thank you
I wonder what I would've thought had I found it within the first year? Things were different (as in better) for me in terms of gait, jumping hurdles, skipping rope and tap dancing.
From reading introductory posts Iβd say itβs a mixture. This MSAA group has only been around a few years. I imagine there have been other venues before that, though.
Yes, Iβm recently diagnosed (two months ago). Iβve found a lot of useful information here, and am so glad for everyone who has contributed or commented.
If you are newly diagnosed then you'll find it incredibly useful to do this free on-line course when it's run again in September. (I found that I didn't need two hours a week for it - apart from the first module it took less than two hours)
I found this 10 years in, a couple months ago. I finally decided I should find a place with people dealing with the same problems, more or less, that I have been dealing with. With that being said this is only my second reply post.
From what I read on this website, some people state their diagnosis date/year if they are a newbie. Isn't that information collected when someone creates an account here?
It took me a while to find home, yes, this IS home.I do think some advertisement is needed a link from MSoc but so many groups they cant do it.I feel very blessed.
