Big changes

I have some news which I hope you will be pleased to share with me. I have met the kindest man and we have dated for about four months and we just got engaged. I am so very happy! He has a condition so similar to MS, called transverse myelitis. It was so difficult for him they actually had to amputate his right foot about six years ago. But he does everything fine with his prosthetic. He is handsome, kind, loving, everything I never thought I would find. We are looking for a house to buy now. I hope you are happy for me. And I hope you are all well. I love you, Kelly xx

Congratulations it so nice to have someone in your life than understands everything about you and loves you, my boyfriend dumped me when I told him

I was getting infusions for my ms I guessed he figured I am damaged material.

It is indeed horribly painful when those we love fail to understand MS and respond by pulling away and distancing themselves. My daughter did the same, as if I were a leper in the Dark Ages, walking along, ringing a little bell, and calling out, unclean, unclean.
