24 May 2019 and I woke up It is not a special day, actually no different from thousands of other days that I have lived. It is a nice day the sun is shining and a nice breeze is blowing. If I put a nice cd on the radio, pleasant soothing music will flow through the house. There is no need for me to be upset or angry that I have Relapsing Remitting ms (RRms) it just is, like my Hazel eyes are, it just is. It is very possible to DO this disease. There are medicines available today, admittedly no cures (whatever that is) but very good medicines. There is no need to ever be fearful, sometimes a little bewildered and frustrated but it is never ever hopeless.

Decide that “YOU” want to keep living as well as “YOU” possibly can and go about doing it. Do it with a will and determination that surprises “YOU” This is our lot in life. It is for us to learn about and for us to learn from. Obviously then “YOU” must learn from it and learn it. Find within yourself a fire glowing in your belly. Feed that fire with knowledge and determination, build that fire and let it flow through your body as RRms does. RRms destroys and causes havoc, let your fire burn destroy and allow you to rebuild yourself.

Do not despair, shed your tears this is a good thing. Then wipe your tears away, straighten yourself and start moving forward and through this your RRms life. “YOU” can move forward there is no need to be overwhelmed. This is a very new and unexpected situation that “YOU” are in. Others have faced it, others have survived betrayal from family and friends, others have ”SURVIVED” and if they could there is no reason why “YOU” can not.

Take a moment or three and collect yourself then start doing what has to be done. I like protective underwear first, then a good Disease Modifying Therapy (DMT). One that “YOU” will actually take. It does no good having it and not taking it. Protective underwear because “YOU” do not need to have bowel and bladder accidents at this early stage in your journey. Ladies “YOU” understand, gentleman after the first time you will understand. DMT because it is actually prove to do something

This disease is doable, you can cope with it just start walking through this your RRms life journey.

One of the first things I say every morning in prayer: “Thank you for this day.”

In life you always have a choice to take life and enjoy it, or not. Your choice, always. :-D
