OK my resolutions never get carried out because I think that.Did that make sense?SoI took a look back at some MSer posts and looked at some honest things to work on that we couldn't figure out or just ditched.Pitch in your thoughts and maybe we can chip away at the issues. I noticed for instance......a big thing with our symptoms is ALOT of us were admitting we needed some free or almost free help on decluttering or cleaning a room or home.We didn't seem to find much help at that time.Environment can really help us all, feel physically and mentally better, one reason I moved our home to another was....to ditch ALOT of stuff(dont tell the hubby)...it was so relieving, lifted burdens and I physically can get around better. It is going on midnight and I got a drawer out of the dresser and its a start..What is one thing you would like to rechallange from last year?Better sleep etc?Give it to the group and we are here for support/.Love to all.or yawn and go on with something else.....guilt free.

New Years resolutions or restitution?Ideas for the new year.....
That is an interesting point of view
When my daughter and family moved out in November, I went through the house and decluttered everywhere. If nobody wanted it, I recycled it. I went minimalistic everywhere. Now I can move around the house with my rollator and there is only Razor to trip overnow. Now the decorator is in and I feel as though I can breathe now, I miss the grandsons but not all the toys. Good idea Jackie, blessings Jimeka 🤗
I have missed you jackiesj 🤗🤗 you know me, I don't do "stuff" my things have meaning to me or have a function. 🤣😂 Cause I don't want to clean it!😒🤣 I hope you are well! 🤗💕

I am always cleaning out and rearranging. Seems like every month I take stuff to St. Vincent thrift store 👍. No resolutions just be a better me🙏. Buster looks happy 😊 Ken 🐾🥶
It is such a feeling of freedom when we let go of all the stuff that we once found necessary, can't live without stuff. Then to realize that this 'treasure' is doing nothing more than taking up space in our lives, our environment, and our minds. I have been decluttering my house, and yes, my life, for a good part of 2 years. This year, I am hoping to downsize my home, so decluttering will need to be put into high gear! After all, decluttering is one of my New Years resolution!
One day my daughter(a realist) said..Mom when you die (DIE?) me and Rich dont want your garbage..we have our own taste. We will gather the jewels(oh that is a laugh) and sell for what we can....Im giving one item to the society for cats.....!
With out move over a year ago, we got rid of an incredible amount of stuff. It felt wonderful! I was determined to get started this year on decluttering small spaces at a time and reorganizing. I did a small area of the pantry, which gave me motivation for doing the whole house, area by area. It's amazing what it does for my mood. It also makes me feel that my house is cleaner, giving me the excuse not to clean as much. (Not really, but it sounds good.) Hubby and I worked on our closet, and he got rid of 5 bags of things he always thought he couldn't live without.
It's always nice having less stuff to dust!
2018 had to be full of lifestyle changes and resolutions to fight the MS monster: diet, exercise, and more.
So I'm entering 2019 with no new resolutions other than do the same and be gentle on myself.
And as usual, find ways to better myself (but this is not a new year resolution, this is a lifestyle).
Cute pup!
Better sleep for sure along with getting back outdoors for my walks instead of just using the treadmill.
We moved three years ago and downsized at that time. Then my mom had to go into a nursing home so I have a bunch of her stuff. We are bringing our house up-to-date as it was decorated in the 70's and looked it. We have our dining room and my art room to do plus the two remaining baths. We got a lot done in three years! As each room gets done, that's when I sort more and get it arranged the way I want with the stuff I want. Anything extra can go to my kids!
Do you have a certain strategy as you start?
Start with easiest room and put extra in garage. Label 🏷 everything as you go👍. Plastic storage containers with lids that are stackable.DON’T make them to heavy !!Good Luck 🙏 Ken 🐾
I got the main furniture in place so we could live. Then we started on one room, then the next, either moving stuff out of each room or doing one side of the room then pushing things to the completed side. When I'm done there is not a white ceiling in the house. Ceilings are another wall to me. Some are quite dark which makes them disappear.
Over three years ago when I was way sick with cancer ♋️, Jody and Tyler had a huge garage sale before we moved to Meridian Idaho. I was no help at all which was probably good as they made $2,500.00😲. Only one item I miss is my portable table saw, but I have survived 😊. Jody has missed more items she got rid of, mostly kitchen items 🤨. We still have a little more than we need and slowly weeding it out 👍😁. At least now we actually know what we have left 🙏🤪 Ken 🐾🐾
