Would you like to share about your upcoming appointments? I have a neurologist appointment today and a check in with my PCP on the 3rd to discuss several things.

August appointments
I have my annual neuro appointment at the end of August, and then my infusion at the end of August! New insurance coverage and new virus protocols will make these, to say the least, interesting! Oh, happy days, greaterexp By the way, my PCP annual visit, which was to occur on March 16th, has been rescheduled to October! We'll see if that happens...
I need to schedule my eye dr appt as that is when my vision insurance allows another visit. I also have my every 2 week chiro visits, and a dental appt on Aug 24 to get my permanent crown put on. After that, I think I will have to finally make my appt with the Endodontics office to finally get my front top tooth fixed. That will require 2 appts. Been a long time coming. Have had other dental stuff taken care of first.
Visit pc for annual checkup. End of August feeding tube replacement. π€πππ Ken πΎπΎπΊπΈ
How difficult is that procedure and recovery? Youβre in my prayers .
Is it a PEG tube? Why do you need a feeding tube?
Yes, have stage four throat cancer βοΈ to go with MS. π Ken πΎπΎ

Oh, my! I am so sorry. And you've had tube feedings for 4 years? Are you able to swallow anything at all? I'm feeling guilty for all the food I've eaten today without even thinking about how wonderful it is to be able to swallow. In the early days of my MS I had a lot of swallowing difficulties but I rarely have problems any more.
Lol
My neurosurgeon has put off my telemedicine appt. off for a month and a half
Not getting better here!
Called today, the surgeon and neurologist!
Frustrating! I hope you get rescheduled soon.
Had a telemedicine appt with my neuro and one with the research team I'm part of. Not sure how accurate it was done over video conference. Next step is the Ocrevus infusion.
As expected the approval from the insurance came back with the wrong info (being sarcastic). Going for another round of approval and hopefully the infusion will happen early in August, 12 months or so after the last one. Phe
Oh, the joys of dealing with insurance. Iβm sorry, and I hope things smooth out.
all fixed. insurance approval came back today. all good. called to scheduled the infusion. first day available is Aug 29th, unless I get to different infusion center. I confirmed for Aug 29th.
But now I feel some remorse. Can I wait 4 weeks? it's been 12 months since last infusion so I know I'm at risk of a relapse. Head is spinning.
i have my annual mri aug 6th,they have postponed it since march!maybe no more holes in my head,i can't afford to lose anymore brain tissue
Let us know how your visit goes!
Aug is going to be busy. Relapse work up plus next infusion, Vals helmet checks, I think V has a 3yr well visit (gotta check in that π¬), I still never went to see my PCP.
I wish I was going on vacation instead π
Yes, it sounds busy. I hope all goes well for you all.
My appointment was all right. I felt my neuro was oddly rushed this time. We discussed Ocrevus, but she is reluctant to put me on it while Covid seems to be a problem. I explained that I really don't go anywhere, but she wasn't dissuaded. I tend to agree with Dr. Boster in that we shouldn't wait for more progression before starting something more aggressive. She does know about the fight I would have with insurance, since they insist on using Rituxan, rather than Ocrevus, even though Ocrevus has a much better safety profile. Her thoughts were that I haven't had any relapses, so I'm doing all right. I have MRI's of brain and T-spine coming up sometime when they call to schedule it.
Starting PT back up Tuesday (after none since March) Neuro Thursday sure she will order annual MRI that is due in Aug
Apparentlybeoke hip 2places april. Didnt show up xrays til monday since not gettingbe
Sorry to hear that Brindisi1 What are they going to do for you? or is there anything they can do for you? Are you in pain with it? I would assume so. Keep us updated when you can.
I have a video appointment with my NEW primary care dr. on the 5th. Then on the 18, I have an appointment with my current-but-soon- to- be- fired primary care nurse practitioner. But on the 17th I have to see some vampires for the don't-eat-or-drink-anything-for-a-couple-of-weeks-blood-test for my appointment (that I suspect will be another video visit, despite him saying otherwise) with my cardiologist who will never know what my blood pressuere is, what my heart rate is, or my oxygen levels are because he isn't a pediatric cardiologist so he, like my neurologist, is considered non-essential. And I may get an appointment to have the barrium-swallow test done. Whether I will then get to visit my speech pathologist and my neurologist is unknown. 'cause it ain't COVID!
I have eye and dentist appointments in August. Its been awhile since my dentist appointment. I hope everything goes well. Last year, I had my eye appointment before I was diagnosed with MS so I am hoping my optic nerve is still working properly. I haven't had any problems so far. π¦·π
