As promised, I am keeping you updated. As Medicare benefits are exhausted, the rehab facility is discharging me tomorrow. PT/OT made a home visit and deemed it safe for me to return. However, I am still non-weight bearing on the fractured ankle and wearing a heavy, clumsy boot. I will be in a wheelchair until I am weight bearing. This is going to be tricky (alone, in the country, old and creaky) but a neighbor will go to the market for me so I probably won't starve though I doubt much real cooking will occur. I am working on getting transport to the surgeon's office for the next appointment when maybe I will be cleared to begin using my right leg again. Here's hoping!

I'm happy that you can return home, but pray you can manage on your own. Thank God for good neighbors! Keep us posted on how you're doing!
Do they have meals on wheels in your area?
I am pleased that you are going home, I think it will do your morale good to be home in your own surroundings but, I am worried about you being on your own. Can you not have a friend come stay with you until you get used to your situation. Sending you a big hug, π€ π» π π« Blessings Jimeka π¦
No need to cook if you have a cold meal, just make sure it's full of green leafy veg and other goodies. Sending good wishes your way.
