Have my 2nd Tysabri infusion tomorrow. Didn't have any issues with first. I hope this one Is just as easy. Got back from my cruise last night. Much needed relaxation and sun. Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Hi jkdavid99 in starting Tysabri in fusion at some time this month. I'm a bit apprehensive about it but my MS Nurse has told me to go for it so in going to do. Glad the cruise went well I love cruises there fab so relaxing 😊😊😊😊🛳🛳🛳

janetb1968 , I've been on Tysabri for close to 5 years now. Have never had an issue with it, no flares or relapses in that time, and the subsequent MRIs have all showed no new lesions or changes in the lesions I do have!

Well that did not go well. 20 minutes in I started having chest pain and trouble breathing. They stopped the meds for 40.minutes then started back up half the speed to drip. 10 minutes into that my chest started burning so they stopped again. Called the dr and gave me benedryl and steroid. 1 hour later dr said try again at half drip speed

I got 90% done then they had to close.

So frustrating. Damn I didn't have anything like this on first infusion. Next time we will start with pre meds first at half drip speed. Thinking about taking zanax for this too

27 days i will try again.

Did this happen to anyone else ?

I'm so sorry it didn't go well the second time for you. Not sure what the difference was from the first time 😟 Better luck next time. Keep us updated.

I'm too chicken to go on Tysabri. I have SPMS and am on Rituxan for 2 years, very happy!

I’ve had 25 doses of tysabri with no issues. I did have a relapse in late November. Very rare.

For those of you on Ty , how do you get the meds. Pre benedryl or post anything. Is it given full speed or half. With saline or not? Any tips appreciated
