I was diagnosed with MS in 2008, I've since been re-diagnosed with Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis in 2014. In the last couple of months, my eye site has gotten progressively worse; I was prescribed with bifocals, they do nothing for me, I just feel like now my eye site is just completely failing. Is this normal with MS?

Poor eye site
That is how my right eye loss started the signs of MS lesions behind my eye 👁. Luckily my vision came back after six months but I have problems with it for last twenty three years. It will suddenly go blurry and last a minute or sometimes hours? I will go a week, three months good and comes back? I think a lot has to due with stress and how much I am doing. I have had it checked out several times and it just comes back to the MS lesions behind the eye 😖. Just something I have to adjust to. 👍🙏🐾🎃. Ken 😉
I was dx in 2000, a few years ago in a relapse both eyes went blurry. I returned with double vision and over the past 6 months my right eye is blurry. Thank goodness I no longer see two of everything LOL . Seriously, I have found over all of these years with MS, sometimes finding a work around is the only answer to some of my symptoms.
Have u seen a neuro ophthalmologist? My sight has also worsened. 2 neuro ophthalmicmologist state it’s not due to my MS but instead due to aging and past lasik surgery and dry eyes...???
Talk with your eye doctor about this, you may have a lesion on your optic nerve or could be something unrelated.
I have Ms related eye issues and have prisms in my glasses. This helps with double vision, if that is one of your problems.
I'm the same way. I was battling eye issues for way over a year. Double vision was the worst! I have prisms as well now but lately I have noticed blurriness. Some days are worse than others, all you can do is adjust to it. My optic neurologist says it will get no better.
