Hello!! I was diagnosed with MS in 2012. The journey has been tough!! The Christmas in 2017 I was very ill. I turned to the MS Society and they were terrible. Has anyone experienced this type of treatment from them??
Thank you all for supporting me through this time!! This site made me feel less anxious and lonely. I Plan on getting back involved and helping you all as much as possible!!๐
MSAA and the MS Foundation were absolutely amazing and supportive!! I will give back to them.
I finally have in home care and it has positively changed my quality of life!! It was a tough road but with God's strength I made it through. I have learned so much in the past few years. You are in control of your health care. Seriously!!
Right now I am getting tysabri every 28 days by the iv. It has worked miracles for me. I feel as though I have the best health care in a long time. I have been on rebif and steroids before now. I keep up on vitamins and try to eat healthier each day. It does help.
I'm looking forward to sharing my story and hearing your stories!!
Thank you for listening to me!! This site is the support I need!!
Have a wonderful day today!!

Good afternoon doveflyfree. It's Fancy and I would like to welcome you back to our chat room. As always we prohmise to give you a safe place to come and ask questions, voice concerns, or simply speak to others who truly understand what you are going through. We have much we can learn from each other so I look forward to getting to know you better. The more you post and reply to post the quicker we will get to know you and you will get to know us. I am glad that your MS is doing better. Keep us informed and let us know what's going on, what therapies are working for you, and in general how you're doing because so many people want to know paths that are successful so they can try to talk to their doctors as well. Until we speak again take care and remember together we are stronger! Fancy.
Thank you very much!! I will share What I have been through and appreciate all your support! I don't have much family support but I do have my Dad and children and home nurse. I appreciate all support. I have found that a lot of people don't know about MS and how it affects us. I try to offer knowledge as much as possible. I know the MS affects each of us in unique ways.
I look forward to staying in touch with you and everyone!!
