I have a drop foot and I wear a brace for it and the velcro was getting loose so I went to a fabric store ”Joannies Fabrics” and i asked a sales person if the have Velcro that would be the same type as to what I had on and she said yes. I got the same length and width two pieces for $2.50 and let me tell you it is stronger than what the hospital would give me. Just wanted to let any to know if your Velcro is losing its straight.

For my brace the orthotics place I got if from replaces it for free

Did the same thing at Joanne's. Velcro now has an industrial strength which I bought - it comes in a package. Let me tell you, that stuff is STRONG. The Velcro they used on the AFO was terrible. It stopped adhering after about 6 months. Now the same co. is stating it's using "New & Improved Velcro" in its advertising.
