My Labor Day weekend will be doing a prep for my colonoscopy on Tues. morning. They still haven't figured out why I've had diarrhea for 26 days straight. Woo-hoo... I'm still on "stay-cation" next week but had to cancel the hotel get-away my boss had scheduled for me and my husband. What fun would that be when I spend half my time in the bathroom??? Someday, maybe, we'll be able to get just a bit of time for ourselves.
Hopefully the dr. will get to the "bottom" of this!
BTW - My last MRI said things were still stable. Couldn't even be happy as I'm rather miserable with the other.

Good news on the mri and at last they are doing something to see why you are running to the toilet so much. I am sorry that you have had to cancel your break away. Let us know how you get on, blessings Jimeka ๐ค
I'm so sorry that you still don't have an answer for what's been plaguing you. (If 26 days straight of diarrhea isn't a plague...I don't know what is!) I hope they get answers for you soon.
I had the same issue for a month. So i mixed up my meds and found out it was my migraine maint med giving me the runs. Thot i had my migraine issue worked out but nope. So still trying to figure which is worse - the runs or migraines? ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
I'm wondering if it's my depression meds. I talked to the pharmacist yesterday and he said if it's my meds, it's that one. Going to stop it for a few days and if it works, we're moving on to a different one!
you might want to check if diarrhea is a side affect of any of the meds you suspect. Glad to hear about the MRI and being stable. Sorry for the rest, hope they find the problem be good to U ~terry
Oh I feel for you, I had the same for 7 weeks, colonoscopy revealed microscopic colitis. Stopped on itโs own but still have a bit of trouble now and again. I as on aubagio for 3 months before it started. Doc wouldnโt commit to drug reaction.,but neuro thinks it was. Hope it goes well for you.
Oh, Lord. I just looked that up. The dietary restrictions will kill me if that's it! No tea in the AM (caffeine), no chocolate! Ug. How do you do it???
Tuesday is the colonoscopy. The nurse said if I have clear stools halfway through the drinking of that stuff, I can stop. Chance are that I only have to do half because I'm about there now! I vacuumed the house yesterday. I did a room then rested, did a room and rested. I have no fuel in me at all...
Well I have not really restricted anything so that is why I think the aubagio played a part. I was the same no energy, dizzy. I went to the pharmacy and got the electrolyte powder and it worked a charm..I didnโt find the prep so bad cause as you said you are mostly there now. Let us know how it goes and hang in there๐
I've been on aubagio for several years. I can't imagine that's what's causing this. Well, tomorrow is clear liquids all day. Today was bland, bland, bland. Tuesday AM is the procedure. The only part of that I'm worried about is I'm a really bad stick. Can't wait for this to be over...
Glad to say, I survived. I only drank 4 cups of the nasty prep stuff and I was running clear, so I quit and crossed my fingers. The procedure itself was no big deal. The people were very nice. Inside I looked perfect! So they took a few bits of the lining to biopsy and see if that turns anything up. So for now, I'm back at square one and trying to get some strength back. Some vacation... Not going to get anything done.
That is great news that everything looks clear. One thing less to worry about. Now you have to wait for the biopsy results. Remember to keep your electrolytes up. I know it is not easy to wait while feeling rotten. The electrolytes really helped with my energy. Sending healing 5houghts your way.
Mrsmike. I am shocked that this has gone on so long. I am keeping you in my prayers and sending you big loving hugs! Sorry about your weekend ๐ข. Lots of love, Kelly xx
