Yes! I had a nice birthday/Labor Day despite the surrounding problems in my county with flooding and I wished my MS was behaving!
I was showered with so many cards for good health and a better year! ♥️
Yes, there were troubles of life. … We had so much flooding in our community and surrounding counties here in NJ, that President Biden visited Manville and my town, Hillsborough. The flooding problem in our valley keeps getting progressively worse, from climate and environmental changes. Sort of like my MS. I was so fatigued, achy and some spasticity from this disease and the weather.. I hadn’t had fatigue this bad since my college days. I only was sad Sept 9th, 3 days after my birthday, the anniversary of my mom’s death. I had to cry once to let the sadness to pass.🥲🥰
But the Lord showered me with so many blessings; cards of encouragement, and love along with birthday wishes. My men folk, hubby & two sons, gave me awesome gifts and cards. It was like the first day of Christmas, when I was a kid. Our resident chef, David Jelani (my youngest) gave us a wonderful birthday dinner followed by an awesome cake we ordered In late August. God knew it was going to flood because we tried a new, terrific bakery!! I waiting to see photos they took at dinner!🙃🙂😍
I truly felt the love from the words written in cards, conversations, posts from FB and MSAA community - so many people. And thanks for your support throughout the years and especially 2020-2021! I wouldn’t be here with out so many prayers from MSSA (You), church and various family members like my youngest brother calling me at 8 am like mom, and long conversation with one of my nieces, Tristan. 😘💕
Thank you sincerely,
With much love.
