πŸ¦ƒπŸ—Happy Thanksgiving Day to my extended family!πŸ¦ƒπŸ

I wanted to send everyone in this chat room my wish for a blessed, safe, and above all Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy this special time with your family and friends. Eat more than you should and catch up with family and friends. Relax and don't work too hard if you're hosting the celebration at home. Conserve your energy where you can and remember that Chinet dishes are just as functional as your best China, but a whole lot less clean up. So cut Corners where you can. It's what we all need to remember to do.

On a secondary note I wanted to let everyone know I'm still still alive! Everyday I grow a bit stronger and the pain is a bit more manageable. I have already started physical and occupational therapy. I go back for my first recheck with my surgeon this Friday November 23rd. Although the pain is still considerable, I'm not sure what bothers me more the pain or this blasted sling / placement device that I have to wear 24 hours a day. It has more velcro and buckles and loops on it than anyone could ever dream up and it seems that two-thirds of them run across the back of my neck. Yuck.

Please take care and be safe until we speak again. I want to thank everyone who has sent well wishes my way once again. Please understand I will not respond to any replies from this post as I'm not quite up to it yet. Perhaps later on in December I can start replying back to everyone. But know in my heart I think of everyone often and I am very blessed to be part of such wonderful, caring, chat room with all these dear friends of mine in our extended family! Happy Thanksgiving!πŸ¦ƒπŸœπŸ›πŸ—πŸ¦ƒπŸ¦ƒ
