Cant sleep

I dont feel well this morning I'm tired but my stomach hurts so I think I'm up 4 awhile ugh

Hello 👋 I want you to know I also can’t sleep it is 4:38am I believe you would call me nocturnal you see if I sleepa or night. It was day 2-3 hours at night that’s a good night. But right now I cannot sleep. You see I have taken about 2 good naps during the day on one I had to figure out if it was if it was morning it wasn’t. I do need to get on a schedule you see I walk with a rollator and going out for walks by my self won’t happen.

So I hope you feel better and get some rest.

I did that yesterday woke up did my normal routine and about 2:pm I was dizzy 😵, nausea, and tired 😴. Laid down and sleep off and on till midnight 🕛. Got up and got some food, then here for hour and back to sleep. Woke up several times and now up again at seven. Have ate and having coffee ☕️. Feeling better but still tired 😴. I don’t have any Silva glands from radiation and chemo so I wake up every 2-3 hours for water 💦. I think I never get any kind of good deep sleep. That with MS and just tired all the time. Hope everyone has a wonderful day and remember it is National 🐕 Day ! 🙏🐾👍😎 Ken

Is it MS or something else? Either way, it’s no fun getting little sleep. I hope you have a better night tonight.

Hey Jackjosh,

When my routine is disrupted, my sleep suffers. When I eat/drink something that I am not supposed to eat/drink. I am lactose intolerant, and have a gluten/wheat sensitivity. It affects my sleep. Also, when I stress about something/anything, I can't sleep. When this happens, I usually have a few restless nights, deal with my issue(s), or I go to see the doctor IF this problem persists. It always helps to know what is going on, medically, and in my case, I return to getting a proper nights sleep, sooner, rather than later.

To deal with my sleep issue(s) first, I get out of bed, and repeat my bedtime ritual, which is to brush my teeth, wash my face, etc. Sometimes, I massage my temples, ear lobes (no laughing here, it really works), and then go back to bed. Or, I take a sip of water. The trick here is to repeat your bed time routine. For stomach cramps, and I have many of them, I use a heat wrap that I put in the microwave to heat. I apply the hot wrap to my stomach area. That helps me a lot.

I hope that your discomfort subsides soon.

I’ve talked to my Neurologist but they want to give me something strong which I don’t want because I get up 2 to 3 x a night to go to the bathroom. I am up once again it is now 5:10 am and know 💤 again. What a pain in the butt. Well I’ll be taking a nap about 3pm I know I shouldn’t but I don’t know what else to do. Oh yea we going to have another heat wave 4 days over 90*

Hi Everyone, I try to avoid the ambien the neurologist prescribed for me during my sleepless nights. Yoga, reading and jazz is working better for me. We're in this struggle together. NeeC
