I know that all of you have people that you have met who may live thousands of miles away from you, or even half wa around the world. People you may have talked to for months or even years. You have never met in person, but you have feelings for them and consider them a good friend. Maybe better than your friends who are local to you.
I ghost wrote this one night. Ghost writing means that I just sat down and would just write without any conscience though or direction in mind. I am done this and ended up with poetry, song lyrics, or just deep psychological ideas and thoughts.
I started this but don't think it is finished for some reason. This is too all the long distance internet friends.
It's strange to have a friend
that you have never hugged,
lightly touched their arm,
or looked into their eyes.
But you have touched their soul
felt their heart
been embraced by their warmth of being.
A friend unseen is not a friend untouched.
The eyes of the soul will gaze,
the heart will embrace
the image will stand tall
but only in a dream

That is very good. You may call it ghostwriting, I call it talent. This is the second post of yours that I have read and both are very profound. If you find that you have to retire from your current job due to MS, you can probably make a living at writing. Have you tried publishing anything? If not you might want to try.
I absolutley agree w/hairbrain here! Wow, you R an Awesome writer! I def. Think y could make a living out of it!πππͺπβBlessingsπππβ€---Jazmine πΉπRose
Thank you guys. I actually have written and published a book. The title is "Stranger than Fiction: A father's last words to his sons." It is heart wrenching and funny and deep and shallow all mixed in. I believe it was a NYT Bestseller for a while. You see, before my MS diagnosis an Infectious Disease doctor told me I had Guillan Barre that induced PML. He told me is has a high mortality or extreme disability equal to ALS. I needed to tell my sons how to be men. I had the first 2 copies bound in leather with brass plates with their names. Ended up it was another false diagnosis but I thought I was going to die. I had to get my affairs in order on how to divide my assets. All that is done now, but I know I won't die within the year. Well, that isn't true. As a cop, we know that 10 mins from now isn't a guarantee. I live each minute and when I do finally retire. I will leave the US and live on my property in Gocina, Italy on the Amalfi coast. I love it there and go ever other summer since I accrue 12 weeks of vacation and my kids are off for the summer from school.
Thank you. But I have been arrogant for many decades.
A very nice piece. I write to keep sane. I may share someday. Thanks for letting us in. I remember the time I thought I was going to die from a false diagnosis and went to my shop to put everything in order so my wife would be able to sell it.
Itβs a strange feeling once you get over the initial shock. Please keep writing and letting us in on it.
