Utah, anyone?

Hi, I am fairly new here and am feeling quite lonely. I have lost friends due to MS and becoming 'disabled". I was wondering how many people live in Utah? I would love to make new friends.

Wizardsmom, Welcome! Loneliness is just as big a part of MS as our medical aspects. Do you have an MS support group in your area? If, not are you up to starting your own?

There is an MS support group but the facilitator talks about her own MS the whole time. I am very turned off by her style.

Hi Krissy, I would love to be your friend. I know living with MS can get lonely. I live in California. I wish we were close by so we could have a cup of tea together. Are you able to drive? If so maybe you could find some kind of class to go to where you might meet some new friends. I have met some new friends at a chair yoga class. I am wishing all the best for you. Hugs, Linda
