New feathered friends

A request was made to post about new furry friends. I got feathered ones instead! Three zebra finches. They sound like squeaky toys! No names yet.

One male, two female. I’m told they’ll breed easily if I get a nesting box.

Just squeak! If you’ve ever seen the Pixar short “for the birds” they sound just like the little birds in that!

Ah, Stacy, I love finches, they're so very cute! We had a couple of white finches, oh, I just loved their sqeakin in the a.m., but we also had a very beautiful white Himalayan Kitty, So we had to keep their cage in our room w/ us high! Then we met a woman whom loved to breed finches, so we gave them to her. Thanks for sharing!💐😃👍👋💗😍💖Love Ya!---Jazzy🌹💜

I admit it took my dog a few days to settle down when I got them. But he mostly ignores them now unless you touch the bird cage. He considers himself the guardian of all the little critters: gerbil, birds, and fish!

So cute😊 my cockatiel got on well with my greyhound and used to throw him seeds (the fruit loop pellet kind) to snack on 🐥🐶
