That is Stunning! I really love it and your creativity! Do you do other crafts? Did you have a pattern in mind or just did it freestyle. Either way it's wonderful.

You could think about entering any paintings in the MSAA creativity library and be considered for the picture of the month. There is so much talent in our group.

I tried and they refused because it wasn't a painting or drawing. I thought that was somewhat narrow minded. It's done with buttons and beads...

I look at photos until I see one, or part of one, that hits me and I work from that.

Thank you all for your encouragement. I need something good in my life right now. When my youngest moves out in May he is "divorcing" himself from us... sigh... He's disabled, 19 years old, and thinks he knows everything....

How old are your son’s? I know how boys can be I remember they were ages 12 in for it was the end of the summer and they were driving me crazy. I got up at the house and sat outside. I do know how he can get at least you found someplace to go. Good luck 👍

This one is 19. He's driving me, my husband, and all his siblings crazy! The stress he piles on my makes my MS go nuts. This last round is what put me in my art room to do this one. Anything to get away!

Beautiful. How old are your boys? Mine used to put me through the roof, too. One day the oldest came home and said he joined the Army. He was gone for ten years. In the interim, I moved from Minnesota to NC. He married a girl in Ohio and that's where he is now. I haven't seen him is seven years. My middle son joined the Army in 2006. He went from boot camp to Iraq. All in total, he was gone that time for 18 months. Now he lives in Colorado. I saw him in 2015 briefly. Before 2015, I hadn't seen him for 8 years. It's not my place to talk about another mother's sons, but enjoy that noise while you can. I miss my kids so bad I can taste it. They're busy. My mother was always up my butt. She destroyed my marriage. Now I am alone, except for my sick brother and sister, and my kids seem like a book I read a long time ago.

I have 2 daughters and 2 sons. 1 daughter and both sons are adopted from overseas. Both boys are disabled. I wish we'd never gone to get this last one. Terrible to say but he makes our lives a misery...

MrsMike, I'm so sorry for your situation. I don't think any less of you for telling me what you did. Sometimes it's a person tries to help and they find out that it's bad to stick your hand in boiling water. God bless you and yours. I wish there was something I could do for you. I'll send prayers your way.

Thank you for your prayers. I just wrote him an email (so he can't interrupt me). Your story touched me and I am so sorry for what you have lost. Perhaps you can "reclaim" your sons again?

MrsMike, I am very very happy that all three of my kids are happy. My mother was an unloving, cruel, abusive, name calling B. I promised myself that I would never do that to my my kids. My daughter, 35, just got married to a guy she has known since 7th grade. My oldest is married with three girls and the oldest just had a baby girl. Her name is Elaina. My youngest did his time in the Army. He went to Iraq or Afghanistan for 4 15 month stints. He is not the child I knew. That life changed him. Nonetheless, I love my kids. I am here for them if they need me, but I'll not interfere in their lives like my mother did. I hated that. She destroyed my marriage. Thank you for your kind words.

Military can do horrible things to people. They endure so much and many times it's kill or be killed. What a horrible burden! I'm so sorry he has changed and hopefully he can find his way back.

Little ones in your family! How lovely! My oldest daughter just married last year and wants to adopt. She's afraid of pregnancy, childbirth, etc. Don't know where that came from as I never made a big deal about her birth (even tho' she was 9 # 6 oz.!) She just had to have her blood drawn and cried (at age 27!) But her 3 sibs are adopted so whatever they want. I just hope she never gets sick. How many times last year did you get stuck with a needle? I lost count!
