Hi everyone. I have seen a couple of pleas for those of us that have been "absent" to drop a note. Here is hubby and I. Isn't he handsome?
I have been great. I don't know who recalls when I posted that I had been healed. Well, I am still healed! God have been beyond gracious to me. Hubby and I are enjoying our life, our kids, and especially our grand kids! We have both returned to college to take some classes we enjoy. I am taking British Lit (tip to my UK friends) and Piano. Have never touched a musical instrument before so it is challenging!
Love to you all!
Karen
PS, I do stop by once in a while and check in.

Oh Karen-x, it's Fancy1959. I am overjoyed to hear back from you! We have missed you so very much. Yes I do believe your hubby is the second most handsome hubby I have ever seen, behind mine! Haha. We do grow attached to what is our own don't we! Please do not be a stranger to the family here. We have missed your humor and your input, your kindness and your wisdom. The old childhood song comes to mind that we should make new friends but keep the old because one is silver and the other gold.
You sharing your MS total remission is a beacon and a light to everyone in this chat room. Please check in often and make sure you remind people that there is hope and that you have been healed. Hope is such as essential and valuable tool that we too often throw away in our despair when we fight this monster. Despite you still following along with us your input means so very much to us so continue it as often as you can. You starting something as challenging as playing a musical instrument like the piano shows just how much you have conquered this Beast. Take care of yourself and that handsome husband of yours until we speak again! Please remember together we are stronger! You are a vital link in our strength so remember to stay in touch often! Fancy.
Great to hear from you, Karen-x ! And great photo too! Happy to hear you continue to do so well, and are making the most of every moment. We have so much to be thankful for, don’t we? 🙏. Next you and your hubby will be off sailing ⛵️ somewhere!💕
Karen! What a joy it is to hear from you! How delighted we are that you are doing so well and enjoying life to its fullest with your wonderful husband!
Thanks for popping in to give us the great news! Bless you!
Hope is what can get us through each day. When we let go of our hope our disease takes control. Every symptom is exaggerated. We can't see a way through to a better perspective. And it becomes a vicious cycle. I can't claim to have the answer to breaking the cycle. For me, it's Jesus. He breaks the chains that bind us to hurt, despair, and hopelessness.
