Hello all
Saw the MS nurse who has suggested Tysabri got to think about it. Saw my neurologist who said that the iv steroids will start tomorrow. Had a VEP today also hope u are all ok xxxx
Tysabri is the most effective for me. I've tried others and was sensitive to others.
janetb1968 how did the LP go? How did the VEP go? Know any results yet? I don't know anything about any of the drugs so the only advice I can give, is research them all. You may have to try them and see how your body reacts to them. Hope everything else is ok. Hope steroids go ok, hugs Jimeka π€ π«
@janetb1968 Sure glad to hear things are moving along π. I was on Tysabri for seven years and was one of the best drugs I had π. The only reason I donβt is that I had stage four throat cancer and had to go offπbummer π€¬ The side effect that I had was fatigue that night and the next day. I did infusion on Friday and was able to keep working for seven additional years π. Any questions feel free to ask π€·πΌββοΈ. This was a great drug for me π Take care and I hope this works π Had no exacerbation while on it. π Good luck and keep us informed π€·πΌββοΈ. ππΆπΎπ©π Ken

Oh, now weβre all Doctors.
Who's the doctor?
How are you doing today janetb1968 ?π How long are they keeping you locked up?π and do you have enough chocolate π«?π³ π
Have you checked out S.E.A.R.C.H. from MSAA yet? mymsaa.org/ms-information/s... it gives you an idea on the treatment options available. Although I must say they are for the U.S. Not necessarily for the U.K..π
I hope it helps a bit.ππ

Hi Jesmcd2 im hoping to be home on sometime Wednesday thanks. Food is ok but it's the NHS could be better but nevermind xxx π
Hello EVERYONE, because this is for everyone, and I know Janet will be a good sport about this, hi Janet, I have no idea what all the abbreviations are. NHS? Somebody posted earlier with an ANA and a couple of others. Are these things I need to learn and if they are can somebody please send me a list...lol.
Sorry SometimesCrazy NHS stands for National Health service and is the free from birth till death health service here in the UK. It does have its ' problems at times especially the winter bed crisis. But most Brits would never lose it. I'm a staff nurse in my local hospital so I have an idea how it works π€π€π€π€ Now ANA as far as I know stand for anti nuclear antibody .....being a staff nurse for 27 years I've heard the abbreviation but no expert I could be wrong ππππxxx
Hope you escape soon before the chocolate withdrawals set in.π«π«π«π«π«π π

check out Rituxan therapy. I've been on it for 2 years and it is safer than Tysabri. It is good for RRMS and SPMS, which is what I have. I don't have any side effects with the Rituxan.
