Ain't Life Grand

4 times I have gone down today. I am in a recovery center with a call don't fall band. If they came when you called, that would not have happened. I slid every time, cost me a guy and phone calls to the family. One thing I will say, I did not plan this or want this to happen. I believe part of my issue with my balance is medicine. The other is just is just so the lovely monster moment of MS.

I am so NOT having good moments. I so wish these people would understand (or try) this is not my choice.

To say this has been difficult for all involved is putting mildly.

I'm not gonna click the like button on this one. I sure hope you or your family gives their management the information. Also tell you doctor because they should be aware of lack of response by staff and your medication situation. Do you have a walker or do you need assistance at all times? Perhaps the doctor could talk with staff or you could change facilities. They sure can't call it a recovery center if they are allowing you to fall. Is there an Ombudsman or someone that you can talk with and perhaps they can speak for you with the facility management. In California, Ombudsman information access has to be posted near the facility offices. If you can't get there, have a friend or family member check into it. Your safety and recovery are the most important! Praying for your speedy recovery and that things get better for you.

Sorry to hear about your falls! I can relate...I have scars on both knees and near my left eye from multiple falls. I hope you recover quickly. My falls are courtesy of MS: either from balance problems or during a pseudo-exacerbation.

Oh my goodness! Be safe and wait for help. I know it sucks and I really hope their slow response is due to genuinely unable to get to you faster rather than their laziness. Take care.
