Your life

This is your life. Not mine, certainly not anybody else’s. Just as a wild and crazy suggestion from way out in Left Field why do “YOU” not go out of your way to make it so good that “YOU” just burst with excitement every day when your eyes open? Okay, perhaps I am being a little extreme and it is within the rules to tone it down a little, but do “YOU” actually make an attempt to make your day to day life one worth living? Be honest with yourself, do “YOU”?

Of course “YOU” know me and what the next question I am going to ask is. WHY NOT? Sometimes I am just so obvious I scare myself:-) Relapsing Remitting ms (RRms) is a tricky and confusing condition. There is so much that can and might go wrong it is understandable to be overwhelmed. Do not be, educate yourself as much as “YOU” possibly can. Ignore the people that tell “YOU” that if “YOU” take XYZ or if “YOU do XYZ that “YOU” will be cured. Also ignore the ones that say I did XYZ and I am cured. Ask for before and after Magnetic Resonance Images (MRI) and if they can not produce them they are lying. It is called Relapsing Remitting ms for a reason. It comes and goes, that is the nature of the illness. “YOU” may just have seen somebody on a good day, believe me that is not a cure.

Sit in your comfy chair and say to yourself, this is my lot in this life how can I make it better? No not better good, really good. A life that I can be proud to have lived, a life that I am sad to see go. Just because we have this chronic incurable condition does not mean that we have to have a bad or unhappy life. Yes, without a doubt there are and will be moments when “YOU” ask yourself can I really do this, am I Homo Sapien enough? That is man enough, but as most ms people are women I made it gender neutral. Rest assured I probably will never do that again.

Seriously, look and find your reason for making your life great. Listening to the different birds again this morning

is something enjoyable. I think I have heard five different ones over the last few days. I even heard ducks which is really good. I might go over to the park and look in the pond. I am sure they are floating there. Remarkable I am fifty and I very rarely noticed these things and they happen every year. This year I notice and they are making my present very pleasant indeed. I would bet that if “YOU” put aside your pain for a moment “YOU” very well might see beauty and wonder and life just for yourself.

Just an off the cuff question. Do “YOU” have a daily theme song? Mine is Bob Marley, 3 little birds. Find one for yourself, listen to it everyday, and do not worry just live your best life. At ninety on your death bed tell the nurse and your loved ones that “YOU” had a really good life and be honest about it.

Sorry, that guy and his followers makes me really, really tired. Just like watching the cute neighbors kids playing outside, who have soooooooooo much energy. They wear me out just watching them. God, could I get that kind of energy again? Even just for a day?

Who, Rory??Lol!

He does nothing but energize me! Kids too.

I don't expect to have their energy at 54 years old. I just work with what I've got...which ain't bad. ;)

Good read. My song is the theme song to the old TV show "One Day At A Time" My motto is "Be thankful for yesterday, enjoy today and hope for tomorrow." Life is too short to sit around feeling sorry for myself.

Well it hasn’t been good the last couple of months they changed my AMPYRA to the generic but I put up a fuss and I’m back on the real AMPYRA only have been on it for 3 weeks. I hope it changes I was doing pretty good before I took the generic.

I’ve been trying to hear the birds but the weather got cold so I think those birds are hiding but the other day I heard a couple of 🦆 ducks fly over what a great sound.

My neighbor has a dog her name is Stella great dog she came right across the street to say hi I was patting her and when I stopped she moved my hand back as if to say come on keep patting me. Well I guess I’m doing ok just had to write it down. That’s I needed that. Have a good weekend.
