Mornin sunshine ๐ŸŒž Midgey_Midge06 ๐Ÿ˜Š ugh. I do get that, later on in the day.I find that I have to look at my hands to hold something and pay attention.

So now your asking me to do 4 things at once.๐Ÿ˜

1. Pay attention. ๐Ÿ˜„ no

2. Carry something without dropping it. (I really want new plates๐Ÿ˜‰)

3. Walk seriously?๐Ÿ˜’

And 4, do it all at the same time! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

Do you have better luck?

It must be that kind of day. I spilt crumbs on the floor and almost fell off my rollator trying to pick them I didnโ€™t fall and I did pick them up yeah

For me getting enough sleep,I donโ€™t sleep when your supposed to but now on dropping things, I can drop something and not realize I have done it until after itโ€™s gone. I had a PT give me this prong tool and she even gave me a clip that I have hagging off of my rollator it comes in handy it has saved me from falling down. Some times if I canโ€™t pick something up I wait until someoneโ€™s home to have them pick it up you know like blueberryโ€™s sometimes it just doesnโ€™t happen.

So when my husband comes home Iโ€™ll call out the location and ask him to pick it up it can be nasty ๐Ÿคข if I forget squishy, splat.

That tool thing sounds like a good thing.

I am seriously wondering if i can trach my service dog to fill her own water dish..... ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ

Midgey_Midge06 have you seen those pet dishes with the long handles, so that you don't have to bend down very far?

Midgey_Midge06 it's funny you bring that up about the dog ๐Ÿ• dishes. ๐Ÿ˜ Cause I keep bit*hing, that it's a long way down! To pick it up! I'm 5'7" and wear skechers which add like 2" ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ญ Its a longggg way flippen down! ๐Ÿ˜„ ๐Ÿ˜Œ

so I'm looking for a stand up feeding dish for him!๐Ÿ˜„ But in the meantime I use a pitcher to transfer the water to the dish.๐Ÿ˜„

I went to some ones home and there it went, what was in my hand.My friend sweetly said...that's an MS symptom isn't it...guess I was just use to it happening.Maybe we can all get together and make a tool belt for the rollator?(that is the walker with seat?)TY!

Yep, I know it's going to be a clumsy long day after a night of poor sleep. I use to nap at 4pm and it helped.

You are all really a hoot! Only we can relate to each other as much as we can. I've had some pretty serious arthritis that started in my hands and I was dropping everything and fumbling with buttons, snaps, etc. I started using only plastic glasses and cups so long ago. I went through most of our really good glassware. I hate our heavy plates, but the man loves them so we keep them.. Maybe I could "accidently" start dropping them now & then.. hehehe. It's a shame that we have our accidents, falls and problems with dropping stuff. Perhaps we can post a website or big box store when we find a tool that helps. I know I would sure appreciate it..

I think ๐Ÿค” if I remember correctly I had a PT that said to get Corolla plates they are light weight too handle. I saw on the Internet Target ๐ŸŽฏ had them. And I think they are non breakable.

I have a whole set of Corelle plates, bowl, salad plates, etc.. They are from the 1970's and so far I refuse to give them away. We just don't use them. We just don't have space to use them.. Thank you for reminding me of them. Maybe we could rotate them every 6 months or so..

I found some 9"X24" heating pad at Walgreens and use 2 of them every night all night. Let me know how the CBD cream works, I'd really appreciate knowing.

Hello, if I don't get 7-8 hours of sleep I'm in trouble the next day.

Me too! My goal on my fitbit is set for 9 hours. Since my concussion it seems to be the perfect amount of sleep

I also use a heating pad, on my knees. Since having Ocrevus I donโ€™t need to use it every day.

Hi, I have learned that I can't fight with my brain trying to working well if Idid not sleep enough, even if means Ineed to sleep more hours than the regular time. I am sleeping now 10hours per night, and during the day if I get exausted, slow down, I stop and take a nap to restore my brain energy. That is the only way to make my brain works well. I dream a lot and remember my dreams, which is a good sign of good function, but the wires dont help, the "lithium"batteries dont last long either, need recharge during the day. At least I have more focus than before. When we sleep the brain restore functions, heal and reset.

Midgey_Midge06 just came across this post from over a year ago... Now I can honestly answer that with another year into my MS Journey, YES, when I am overly tired, I drop plates, bowls, my phone, etc. I dropped a small bowl of cranberry relish recently and you wouldn't believe how fast both my husband and I scrambled to clean that up!๐Ÿ˜œ

I just read this post from a year ago and I canโ€™t sleep I was doing pretty good for awhile but tonight itโ€™s not happening I donโ€™t know about you but hour weather here is so cold and the humidity is higher than the temperature. But Iโ€™m glad we didnโ€™t get the weather North Carolyn got they got 14 inches of snow so I guess Iโ€™ll take the cold over the snow.

The pick up tools I have are good to pitch up things I have a gromit hooked on to my ROLLATOR itโ€™s a good thing ok Iโ€™m going to try to get some sleep.
