I had my second infusion of round one of Ocrevus on Tuesday and I'm soooo tired! Does this go away after a time? I think it's going to be worth it not having to have the Copaxone injections. At least I have six months before next infusion!

Hi judymax , I was completely wiped out for a week after each of the first two half-dose infusions, but then returned right to my baseline. I've communicated with a lot of people who have experienced worse fatigue at first but I think for most it's a temporary effect. My first full dose is in late December - wish I'd factored the busy holiday season into the dosing schedule when we first started since it seems to knock me out of commission for a good week each time! I hope you start feeling better soon and hope you will update regularly on your Ocrevus journey. Remember to be patient while waiting for the drug to start working, most of the experts say effects may take a minimum of three months and as long as 1-2 years. Supposedly, the longer you're on it the better you feel. Let's hope!
judymax I had tremendous fatigue for 5 days the first 1/2 infusion. I was not as wiped out the second 1/2. I do not really feel any different 2 months later. I will just wait and see. Hope you start to feel better.
I also experienced extreme fatigue after infusions. For me, it only lasted for a day or two after the first half doses. Following the first full dose It lasted for almost two weeks. It got better after that. I fight fatigue on a nearly daily basis, but was much worse following the infusions. I hope it subsides quickly for you. I also agree it's better than copaxone!!
Judymax: It took me probably about a month to get back to where I started before the infusion. We hope and pray you get over it soon! God's Peace
I had the first half of my first dose on November 20th and I've been very tired in the few days since. I mostly expected it and hope it lessens like most people have experienced. I'm also glad to be off Copaxone! Looking forward to seeing what Ocrevus does for me.
