Looking for YouTube or podcast self hypnosis for infusions?

So, I'm a strong believer in mind body connections and I'd like to potentiate the effects of my upcoming Ocrevus infusion via visualizing the infusion eradicating the MS. I know, sounds a bit hocus pocus 😜

I've searched the Internet and haven't found anything specific enough on YouTube etc.

. I was told to imagine the infusion as an army of solders attacking my B cells but I'm just not relating to that image...

Anyone have thoughts on how you visualize this or a YouTube or podcast you use?

Thanks!

I totally agree and understand what your saying here! Mind over matter is So important! But I think it has to come within! Your own Strength! When you have to pull from the deepest, where does it come from? And take ALL that energy and focus!

Me? Personally, I just pull energy, from my Angels, friends, and everywhere I can find it! And BELIEVE it Away! It can't hurt!

🤗💕

I use meditation, if that interest you? My intro sessions were focused on rewiring lesions. I used the Headspace app and they have a free trial.

I have a Headspace which one of the modules do you use for infusions. I meditate regularly (but not well) but I was looking for something specific related to visualizing the benefits of an infusion

Ah. I’m not good at it either. The motivation series is what I use!

I will look at those closer again. I had used them for running etc. in the past

I’ve never listened to their cancer sessions, but I bet there’s some in there focused on treatment success.

Nope. The cancer module won’t work for me. He talks too much about cancer specifically.

A friend told me that the visualization needs to be specific to the mechanism of action of the ocrevus. So I reviewed Dr. Boster YouTube video on the mechanism of O again and he gives an example of teen boys(T cells) after school in a fight but their friends don’t show up (B cells) to egg them on and I now have an image of Westside story sharks versus Jets and we’ll see where I can take that in my imagination 😜

Yes! Love that example 🎉

I also went in excited, ready, hopeful, grateful, and relaxed. I bet my cortisol when I walked in was barely elevated.

This was in that book that we read. The brains way of healing?

Yep. I totally subscribe to the idea of brain plasticity and rewiring🔌

erash Although I'm not very good at it yet (bothered by what some practicioners call the "monkey mind"), I use meditation and (at other times) a visualization/relaxation technique I learned a long time ago. It sounds crazy, I know, but I focus my mind on each part of my body, moving slowly and sequentially from my toes to the top of my head, speaking silently to the muscles, telling them to relax, following the blood as it circulates. And of course, in meditation, the focus is on the breath. This brings me to a place of great calm and stillness (and lowers my BP).

Thanks! I do the same with a progressive relaxation video as well as you can use a yoga Nidra exercise. Both r grt. I was looking for something specific to visualizing an infusion healing ms. But it does need to be very personal so I’m working on it :-)

erash I wish you success. The idea of good guys/bad guys, sharks vs. jets wouldn't work for me either. I'm sure with your knowledge and tenacity you will find something.

erash I wish that I had seen this post earlier. I am going in tomorrow for my O infusion, and never really thought of visualization in order to relax because I really enjoy the infusion process! Yes, I am probably weird that way. Anyway, I got to thinking about something to visualize when getting infused, and I quickly thought of the video game PacMan. Yep! Sounds and all. That yellow guy eating all the bad cells, chasing the good fruit for energy. You get the idea. Not very 'zen' but I am weird!

Keep Smiling,

Carole :-D
