At 69, I was just changed to a new med (Techfidera) because of disease progression (both MRI lesions and symptoms). As the old lady of the group, what I found in 27 years , is we have gone from being conservative in the drugs that are prescribed (DMTs), to being much more aggressive in trying to have no disability. Unfortunately, aggressive drugs lead to aggressive side effects. It's just like any other disease or a math problem there are pluses and minuses and only you can decide.

YLGram the question may be to yourself, do you want quality or quantity. It's how you feel on a drug and if it improves how you feel. If you are going to have bad side affects and spend your days feeling rough, are the drugs worth taking in the long run? You have to make the decision of what is best for you. Let us know what you decide, hoping for a good outcome for you, whatever your decision, blessings Jimeka 🦋 🌈

Or is it quality or quality? I'm not sure DMTs give more years (quantity)?
