New flower

Don't know if it calla lily that my brother said it was when given me at 12". Now 4 ft tall and produced this one flower 2 days ago

agapepilgrim its a beautiful flower but I think it's a Canna lily which can grow as high as 8 feet tall. Hope you are feeling better and your rash as now subsided, blessings Jimeka 🦋 🌈 🤗

@jimeka not a good day, but I won't even vent on this one. After awhile, it all so unreal like walking thru one of those horror houses that mirrors jump out, horns screech, witches scream- yep another horror show!!!

Some wise person let me know it's a canna .... well forgot the variety. Indian song?? The flliees have medicinal help also. Got more research to do now!!

It's a beautiful Canna Lilly! We have red, orange and yellow. Ours multiply like bunnies and we have to thin them annually.

Agapepilgrim it's my favorite color and an absolutely stunning flower! I don't think it's a Calia lilly, but I am uncertain what it is other than beautiful! Fancy1959.

The "experts" say it is a canna limeka (or something was surprise it only had one flower also what I thought was crepe myrtle or small treees I was babying turned out to be honeysuckle bush! Mexpert saif farmers hate them and kill them! Another joke on me!!!! And what was supposed to be sunflowers planted from seed, frank pulled it all up, sad it was just Polk!! Not a gardener!!!
