long wait!

So the first appointment my neuro has available is August 10. That is the first time I can get in to see him to discuss ocrevus and begin whatever needs to be done before infusion. Stinks I have to wait sooooo long to even get that done!! Guess i'l be sticking with Tecfidera for longer than I had hoped.

msjem So sorry you have to wait so long. It's just crazy how long the waits are to see some neuros.

I'm sorry about the wait, but hope it works well for you once you can begin.

msjem ...wow! that is a really long wait! Can they put you on a list so if someone cancels their appointment you could get in sooner??

Be thankful you have a current and don't fret the wait... Maybe it is karma... It's a new treatment and maybe some bugz need to be worked out before you begin... Waiting is difficult but until August is not so bad!!! Way back in 1994 I waited for 6 months in a "lottery" to receive BetaSeron. Be grateful that so many options are now available... Pray that the song hold true, "The waiting is the hardest part!" ;-)

That occurred to me,,,and with the quote from my favorite artist, the all knowing tom petty, it just might be karma!

Jesmcd2 d2 I do have to book 6 months our for a normal appointment with this dr. I think he is probably getting bombarded right now because of the new drug. I like him but would like to get going on this drug sooner rather than later. What sort of resources are you referring to?

Hello msjem! I finally got to see my neuro yesterday and the first thing she brought up was the ocrevus. I had to do blood work first to make sure I don't have hepatitis and to check for jcv. I filled out the paperwork for it and now it's a waiting game to see if my insurance will cover it. She told me that I have to wait 5 weeks after my last Tysabri infusion, which was 2 days ago. And I need another MRI done. Grrrr! I hate waiting! Once I get everything approved, I will let you all know
