It’s a start of a brand new day and I am off like a Hurd of turtles 🐢
Does anyone else feel like this when they first wake up. I know I do sometimes I feel like I’m going to get something done be it just taking a shower but after I’ve been moving to the kitchen. I say well that does it I get something for breakfast and then I’m done for now.

I start the day also like a "Hurd of turtles", once out of bed I become a snail, take a jaunt to the kitchen get breakfast/lunch, and back to curl up in my shell. ugh!
Before I go to bed, I make a list of everything that I would like to do. I go to bed. The next morning, I get up, have breakfast. I look over my list and put it aside. I tidy up, the breakfast stuff, and get ready to tackle my tasks. But I cannot find my list. No list, tells me that I have 'completed' all my tasks! Done.
Carolek572 I really do loose my list but I have to really need not to do that. But now I’m to comfortably under my soft blanket. Ugh this MS is a real a pain in more ways than one alright it’s more than one but you get this idea.
I would like to stay home and work on my art. If you need to do something, there are lots of organizations that need volunteers. Even a few hours may help you not feel housebound.
In my town the bus system has a special bus that picks up people at their home and takes them directly where they want/need to go. It costs a tad more but it's really nice. I'm getting my son signed up for it. Perhaps you have something like that where you are.
I wonder what it would be like to live where you have such wonderful amenities to better living?
Where I live in west central PA there is no cab, bus, Uber, or Lyte(?sp) service. There is not one store other than a handy mart or gas station, you can guess, a handy mart within 20 miles. However, we are taxed as if we lived close to the city 30 or 40 miles away where all those wonderful things exist. It is a gross exploitation of taxation without representation.
It also makes it very hard for elders such as I to get quick care when we nose dive. It is 30 minutes before a responder shows up. If we had a house fire we would be cooked, so to speak. There is a fire hall down the road half mile, but there are no longer enough men young enough to have an effective firemen force. Naturally most of elderly kids' are long gone from such a destitute community.
I bet there are many communities like this all over the USA. The main problem is the agricultural base and small business community has been destroyed by technology...as technology increases people are increasingly less necessary as a driving force. I read last night Florida is allowing driverless cars on the road. Pretty soon people won't be necessary for much except some very few who have the education and brains to surmount the problems. And that brings up other questions, does it not?
