We have a pair of cardinals that have been in the yard for at least 10 years. This is the female at our old feeder with the squirrel hood. We've since put the hood over the new feeder and Houdini the squirrel hasn't figured a way around it yet.
I haven't been able to get a good picture of the male yet. I'll keep trying.

Yesterday Saturday while Razor was running down the common, we stopped as there was an English red Robbin red breast singing his little heart out. We stopped the truck to listen to him sing, what a beautiful voice he had. You have some beautiful birds, hopefully Houdini doesn't catch any of them. Blessings Jimeka
Isn't it such a joy to be able to spot a bird that is singing and watch and hear him at the same time? We rarely get robins. It's the little things that keep us going.
They don't really like feeders. I have better luck attracting cardinals by spreading sunflower seeds on the ground. I had to get rid of the bird feeder in this picture because of the squirrels.
Aw, she's lovely Iona ! I think she knows she's on camera : )
I have a regular Robin - everytime I weed the garden at the back he comes to see if any earthworms have been turned up ! Clever little things : ) Thanks for sharing your pics with us all x
