Notice his scissor beak. This is the reason he's at the center.

Oh poor baby, Can he eat ok? He's still majestic and beautiful. I'm not typing too good tonight. Gotta foggy brain.. see you tomorrow
Yes, he does fine with ripped up servings of fish, mice and chicks.
Foggy from the gabapentin? CalfeeChick
Wow, how beautiful!😮😊
He is so beautiful. How did the centre find him? Can he not fend for himself? He looks friendly, is he? Thanks for sharing Erash, blessings Jimeka
@jemeka, he fell from his nest 3yrs ago
jimeka oops... That should say 30yrs ago and he's quite happy at the center. He is friendly enough to perch on an arm (not mine as I'm not trained for that yet) and take photos with the visitors. I believe he goes to the schools as an education bird.
Sorry erash, I am just catching up with replies. What an experience to be able to work with such birds, and like Fancy1959 says it gives us all encouragement. Sorry to hear about the owl, hopefully it's just natural causes that caused it to pass. Thank you again, love the photo, same to greaterexp. Blessings Jimeka
erash what proud and majestic bird! You are so lucky to work with them! 🌠
oh erash, it'f Fancy1959, how beautiful! And I am not only talking about the Majestic Eagle I am also talking about your photo finally on your posts! I knew you had a beautiful soul and a beautiful kind and caring attitude but you also have beauty on the outside. It is so good to finally feel like I totally met you by seeing your face. And I love the volunteer work you are doing with the wildlife sanctuary. I hope you have inspired many in this chat room to do the same thing! Thanks for being a true anchor and presence in our chat room. You help to make it what it is today!
You are very kind Fancy1959
I just received an email about one of the Owls we fed, a long term center resident who fostered owlets being rehabbed. She died this am from unknown causes. I just met her but it makes me sad 😢
Nothing less than you deserve! How did you get your photo on your posts/replies?
Great picture!
He's beautiful, erash . You must love working with and helping to 'nurse' back to health these amazing creatures.
