I was diagnosed in 2009 with Multiple Sclerosis.I have been on copaxone and blessed with a great support system. To me it is 5% disease, and 95% mental attitude. I am still working every day and refuse to let this minor stumbling block keep me from being me.

Hi lilfoot57 welcome to our chat ☺ l love your attitude!
Is it snowing where you are? Looks like it's going to be a white Christmas here.
How did you here about us?

Hi Lilfoot57, welcome. This is an awesome group of people here. It sounds like you have been very fortunate in your disease. Blessings!!! I have been on copaxone since diagnosis. I didn't fare as well as you, by the time I was diagnosed, my cognition had really taken a hit. That made it impossible to continue in my profession. No amount of mental attitude has been able to change my impaired cognitive ability. Lord knows I have tried. However, my mental attitude has helped me accept what has happened, take action to help stop any further decline, and praise God for my many blessings.

From a underarmour advertisement: "my only disability in life is a bad attitude"
Not to negate that symptoms are real, but how I respond to them makes a world of differences!
Now that's the truth! It is mostly a mental thing, your drive is a motivator alone! Welcome fellow comrade, together we can and will be Victor's and not Victims. The support here is amazing and comforting!
