I just got a call from the apron at the cancer doc I saw. She said all the tests they have run have come back normal. There is still one more, but she said they expect no problem with it. They think it was the tysabri causing the high lymphocytes. I am so relieved. And I thank you all for your support and prayers! Can't express my love and gratitude. We all have so much to be thankful for, in spite of difficulties. Happy holidays! Kelly

Kelly so, so very glad!!! Now what happens with the Tysarbi?
Happy Thanksgiving!
Erash, my neuro and I decided the PML risk was WAY too high, so I'm back on Copaxone. It is fine, I was on it years ago and feel very comfortable with it. Thanks for your kind words, really appreciate them. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! Xxx Kelly
Ok, u had the painful copaxone shot the other day...i think. I need to keep a spread sheet like Tutu to keep track of everyone 🙄
So very happy for you, Kelly. You have One more reason to be thankful tomorrow!

Kelly - I am so happy for your good news! Copaxone isn't so bad. Though I wish I didn't have to take the shots. I am sure there was much "happy dancing" in your home on Thanksgiving.
Stay well my firend.
Jacqui
Jacqui, how are you? I haven't heard from you for ages! How was your Thanksgiving? I hope you are feeling well. Yes, we were "dancing in the streets"! I would be lucky to walk sedately to the end of the block! Ha ha Yes the shots aren't a lot of fun, are they? They kind of make me feel dizzy and nauseous. Do they ever do that to you? I am thinking I just have to get used to them. Can you tell I missed you? Sorry about the long post. Hope to hear from you soon. Kelly xxx
Kelly, I am fine. I have had my head buried in my website for almost 2 weeks now. I am trying to set it up on my own and am having issues. Several times I have come close to throwing the computer out the window! My brain is just not geared to work the way website building needs it to. I unfortunately don't have the money to pay someone to help me with it. Not too many people want to do website building in exchange for cookies and/or help with their genealogy/family history. Too many people have all the help they need here in Utah for obtaining cookies and genealogy help. LOL
I am determined that this will not beat me! Once it is all set up it will be all good and I will be able to keep it going.
The only time I have had an issue with the dizzy and nausea is when I hit a vein. Luckily that doesn't happen too often. I also have more issues if I use my arms and thighs so now I don't. I talked to my neuro and she said I could use my buttocks. I have enough fat on my body I can shoot up in a lot of spots but I just stick to my hips, belly, and butt.
You can call Shared Solutions and ask them to send Sara out to you. She is one of their wonderful nurses! She will come to your home and go over you injection technique and can answer a ton of questions. Are you using the autoject? I find I have fewer problems when I use it.
Our Thanksgiving was nice. It was just my husband and I. He decided he wanted to try Cornish Game Hens for dinner instead of Turkey. I think he thought it would be less work for me. It wasn't. They were good though. Stuffed the cavity with onion and herbs. Stuffed under the skin with a butter and herb mix and them covered them with strips of bacon and roasted them in the oven. YUM! Tender, juicy, delicious!
Sorry for the mini book I just wrote. As you can see I missed you as well.
Stay well my friend,
Jacqui
Jacqui, thanks for the newsy post! I loved it. I'm curious, why are you building a web site? Are you starting a business? And 'be been meaning to ask you, what part of Salt Lake do you live in? I thought maybe one day we could meet, what do you think? Let me know. Kelly xx
I am starting a blog and a business. The blog will be about living our best lives with MS. I plan on having a shop with items that are helpful for those of us with MS so that I can support the blog and maybe if I get lucky be able to supplement my income when I go on disability. I have big ideas and plans but getting that website set up is driving me nuts! lol
I live in the Jordan Meadows area of Salt Lake. 4th North Between Redwood Rd and I215. It is just outside of Rosepark. I would love to get together some evening or weekend.
