Visit with cancer doc

So many of you were so kind and expressed interest and concern about my cancer doc appointment, I thought it would be easiest to do a general post instead of writing everyone individually. My lymphocyte number is still high. The doc said it MIGHT be from tysabri, but my numbers are higher than what he usually sees from tysabri. He said I could be in the early stages of CLL, a type of leukemia. Or it could be large granular lymphocyte leukemia. He is going to look at my blood cells under the microscope to observe the shape of them which wil tell him a lot I guess. I have to get my blood checked every month with hope that my number drops. So that is it. He will call me Monday or Tuesday with more news. Thank you all for your prayers, good thoughts and friendship. What a blessing you all are. Love, Kelly

I echo all that everyone here as said, I can't wait to see a photo of your cherry coloured trike, something to look forward to. 🌈🚴‍♀️

Oh Kelly, I wish I could be there for you. i think sometimes we get so wrapped up in our own fight we tend to think that MS is the Pinnacle of dreaded disease in this world. Boy, how quickly you just put that all into perspective. Please let us know if we can do anything for you. Keeping you in our prayers is not even worth you wondering about. You will be in our hearts and prayers constantly. Please keep in touch and let us know how your numbers vary. If you hear a funny noise as your numbers drop it will be us cheering around the world for you as you fight and win your battle against this Invader in your body! Keep your chin up, think happy thoughts, and take care of yourself right now. Spoil yourself unconditionally. You deserve it! MSFighter.

MSFighter, you are so wonderful! What kind words you offered. Thank you. I know what you mean about how we can think ms is the blackest mark on our lives. I am so blessed to have this site and all the love and support it gives. I hope I can give that back to everyone. What part of the country do you live in? I have this dream of all of us meeting somewhere so we could put faces to names, wouldn't that be great? Thank you again, and how are you feeling? Are your symptoms behaving? Hope to hear from you soon, and will let all know what the doc sees under the microscope. Kelly
