Im not convinced its acne

Hey everyone, im new here, just found out about this community and wanted to ask about something i have been dealing with for a while and hope anyone can answer.

About 3 weeks ago i noticed a few pimples on my shoulder, i didnt think much of it, as they were really mild, fast forward a a few days i started to notice it really worsening and spreading to my arms,back,chest..its really itchy and it doesnt look very appealing, i went to a dermatologist and he said its just acne, i was really not convinced because i took accutane last year and it cleared my face completely , keeping in mind i NEVER had severe acne on my body or barely at all,

the side effects stopped me from taking more than a 3 months course and didnt complete the accutane medication

I went to another doc and he said the same thing, acne possibly due to stress, now i have an anxiety disorder but it never caused this, im not really sure what to do i cant keep going to doctors who barely take a look at me and then immediately say acne without asking about anything and disregarding all my opinion on why it could be something else, i know i dont have an MD but i know my body, and to suddenly get a full upperbody itchy rash and red peely skin doesnt seem like acne.

Ps i didnt take any meds, nor ate anything new that i recall couldve caused this only thing that i could recall is an anual allergy shot during that time for my seasonal allergies to pollen etc.. In addition to the pfizer covid 19 vaccine a while after the beginning of the rash on my shoulder started

Hello Kevin,

I'm certainly no doctor but hope I can reassure you about skin conditions.

#1

It's very common to be concerned because it's visible to us.

Yes, I have several issues, mainly dryness, but we all tend to worry.

#2

Stress can affect us even if we feel ok. It can turn a face hot, red & itchy.

#3

Many are seeking answers & are being directed to a pharmacist who's knowledgable & willing to help. If necessary, call around.

Maybe get a 2nd opinion.

The important thing is to trust those who know more than we do.

By now, you may have already found the answer to your question.

Keep us posted please

Hi, I think it can be most of the time after eating something. For example, when I eat spicy food on the next day I get a lot of pimples on my face similar to acne and after a good diet, they all disappear. It is also good to use some anti acne products, because they really help you deal with acne and have a lot of benefits aenoacne.com/products/cysti....

Thank you that is actually helpful considering im not as careful with my diet because quarantine doesnt really scream self care, so i guess i have been eating a bot unhealthy this past year so that could be a factor.

It can be acne, you should probably go to a dermatologist, just to check if everything is ok.
