This is now my third bout of chronic hives stretching back over 30 odd years . From this episode to the previous one there was a 12 year gap which I went to see a specialist who prescribed prednisone

Because now diagnosed with overactive thyroid and taking carbimazole cannot take prednisone only antihistamines which don't help as much anyone else have any answers to the itching etc

You could try DHEA start on a low dose approx 15mg per day DHEA is very good to counteract allergies also check out if you are estrogen dominant

Estrogen promotes allergies progesterone moderates

Prednisone - a steroid - doesn't stop the itching it stops inflammation so no loss there really

DHEA helps with itching but you will have to make sure it doesn't clash with hyperthyroidism and the drugs you are taking

GABA and chlorella may also help but again check that they are good with your other issues
