Eyes itching

Good morning all, please my eyes itching me for more than a week now, I used eye drops for four days but still continue, what will be the cause,and what medication should I take to kill it. Thanks

Just wondering what eye drops you used, was it suggested by the pharmacist?

I have dry eyes and sometimes one will get inflamed and sore (like there is a big piece of grit in it) I have lubricating

eye drops prescribed and it can sting and take a while to

settle using my drops.

If you haven't noticed any difference you may need to see your doctor so they can check, hope you get it settled soon.

Are you using any products with benzalkonium chloride in them? These can cause allergic contact dermatitis. It's also found in many cleaners, washing liquid/powder etc.

The itchiness is caused by demodex mites. They can also make it feel like you have grit or something in your eye.

Scrub your eyelids with Ocusoft.

We need to Pay close attention to our eyelash maintenance.

We are a human buffet for the Demodex mite.

We need to keep it under control or eradicate it completely.

For years I had itchy eyes and I scratched my cornea too many times. I could never figure out how I did it. After much research I found the Demodex Mite is the culprit. I had an infestation on my body including my eyelids.

I have been scrubbing my lids daily. I make sure there's absolutely no makeup left on my eyelids.

I have seen results.
