So sorry to hear your news, you must be very upset to be hearing this yet again. I haven't had similar experience in terms of the diagnosis, but I have had a skin graft because of a morpheic basal cell carcinoma so if you want to know more about my experience please pm me.

Hi thanks for your reply would like to know more your experience but don't know how to pm you

Hi tatty - So sorry you have to have another excision. I too had a melanoma removed - it was frightening as I knew something was wrong but the doctors did not recognise it. Luckily it was removed after a wait of 4 years. If you have your adjacent lymph node removed you can qualify for special drugs which boost the immune system.

I've had over fifteen lesions harmless looking moles along the spine removed over the past year and have to go for a biopsy for suspected melanomas on my shoulder. I wear tee shirts and change in a tent when swimming but these blebs keep appearing - I wear a hat and sunglasses as melanoma can affect your eyes especially if you have pale eyes blue green.

Skin grafts can be successful. I have been trying to build my immune system using Dr S Gundry's berry diet taking vitamins in food and increasing my iodine levels in food as I had a large goitre which has gone down since eating more iodine. I have diabetes too which is a constant struggle to avoid carbs as well as sugar. Increased vitamin c at about 1000 grams a day in drink form can help boost the immune system and has been proven to help healing and repair of tissue with cancer and other illnesses. I have also removed tannin in coffee tea

beer red wine as tea and coffee are roasted beans with carbons. I drink filtered water and avoid chemicals in household products such as ammonia and chlorine which can affect my eyes and breathing. Sorting out allergens can be revealing. I had an allergy test through Alphega pharmacy chain up and down the country and found I numerous allergies such as wheat eggs and cows milk and bananas - not much fun when you can't eat sugar as well nor pastry cakes pasta rice etc, Ha. Best of luck.

Hi i am also very carefull when i am in sunlight and really look after my skin eat healthy and try to do all the right things its a coincedence because i also had a large goiter and had to have my thyroid removed 5 years ago as it was affecting my breathing wondeif there is some conection there. stay healthy kind regards.

Think melanoma has more to do with sunlight - if you are on thyroxine that should maintain

your thyroid hormones. It would be interesting to know how you coped having a total thyroidectomy as there are loads of thyroid sufferers who don't know what to expect if they have to have their thyroid removed and how it will affect them. Hope everything goes well-

kind regards
