the one thing that really affects my skin is alcohol, I was only ever a social drinker but enjoyed a glass of wine with dinner but it became so bad it wasn't worth it. About the same time my hubby discovered that alcohol was affecting his meds so we did some research and through trial and error have found that non alcoholic wine is good, our favourites are from Sainsburys and Asda, next we found non/low alcohol beer, Becks Blue, Czech beer and Saint Omer. Most of these are also available in bars so at least we can go out and have a drink with friends without being the odds ones out.

I've had problems with my skin for over 50 years. It started in my early teens with the usual spots, pimples etc, and I was prescribed different hormonal treatments by my GP that worked only for a short while before the problem returned. From then until quite recently my skin has always been a big problem, including a diagnosis of Rosacea for red blotches around my nose, and sometimes pustules that erupted on the very tip. For that I was prescribed antibiotics and Rozex - they didn't work very well at all.

Then I found E45 cream. I have no association with this product whatsoever, but ever since I've been using it on my face I have had NO problems at all. No Rosacea, no pustules and no spots - clear skin. I just rub a blob onto my face morning and night.

Give it a try - it worked for me. I have little or no confidence that most GPs know much about skin conditions, and it's up to the individual to try different remedies.

If it works for you, please post back - other will be interested.
