Ozempic and OCD med

Hello peers,I am considering trying ozempic . I am worried it will affect my OCD medication. I'm taking sertraline. Can you please share your experiences if any of you had good or bad results from taking both? Thank you!

I can't take reuptake inhibitors because of the heart medications I take. I read all the labels and literature about my medications and I don't recall seeing any warnings about diabetic medication.

Hi. I think it's best if you contact your Dr or pharmacist. They would know if it may interact with your other medication.

I was on Victoza for weight loss until the price increased but had no problem with interactions involving my psyche meds.

I've not taken Ozempic but I'm on Sertraline for OCD but I'd be very cautious. I looked into it and was put off by the possible side effects and reports of increased mental health issues

I've seen not med interactions but alot of depression and si side effects which stopped me from using it but I am going to talk to my psychiatrist about if he knows anything about them. My gp wanted me on wegovy but it's like the same drug but she said less side effects but my insurance wouldnt cover it
