OCD subtypes or themes are not diagnoses, therefore, they aren’t official labels They are just names that people use to describe their OCD that has a particular theme. The names used are really in a gray area and overlap other themes. For instance, POCD could also be described as harm OCD or moral scrupulosity because those elements are part of it too. The name that you want changed is a symptom of a condition but not a condition itself
