I need advice

Hello everyone! i need some advice. So i’ve lived with ocd for a long time. I’ve dealt with different taboo themes, but despite them I managed to be in a really nice relationship for a while. Sadly, we broke up 2 months ago. I didn’t want the breakup and it has been hard. Some of my ocd themes came back right after the breakup but then, as they have subsidized (I’m in therapy again), I find myself thinking a lot about my ex, in and obsessional way. I think of him a lot a lot. I am worrying this will become a new theme but since it is a breakup and there is a lot of sadness involved I don’t know the best way to procede (also I think I do compulsions about him but I’m not sure if I could call them that: i stalk him on social media when i feel sad; i go through old pictures when i think i’m getting over him) i would love any advice or to know that someone has gone through the same!!

It might be best to not go through old pictures of the ex. I understand the temptation to do that but doesn't it make you feel worse ? Are you on meds for the OCD?
