Going to the IOCDF conference

I have a young friend with OCD. I will be taking her to the IOCDF conference in San Francisco next month. It will be our first time attending the conference.

In order to get the most out of the conference, I would love to chat with others who are going and get advice about what to do there. If you are willing to chat, please send me a message.

My friend and I are transgender, so we are particularly interested in the LGBTQ+ sessions. One of my goals for the conference is to help my friend find new energy for her fight against OCD. I hope the conference will be an opportunity for her to meet other young people with OCD and to learn about resources that might be helpful to her.

There is a livestream today at noon Eastern Time put on by the IOCDF titled Advancements in Justice-Based Treatments for LGBTQIA+ People. It will be on YouTube and recorded so you can watch it later if you can’t catch it at noon. Also, the IOCDF will send you a conference schedule ahead of time so you can see which sessions you want to attend.
