Do groinal responses sometimes feel like arousal?

So I just had an ocd moment.. my daughter had her head in my shoulder and all of a sudden I started to worry about groinal responses.. well of course I start kind of clenching myself to try and make sure I don’t get one and to stop it. Which doing that and worrying always makes me get one 🙄 at one point the weird feeling almost felt pleasant but it’s hard to describe! I can’t go down this rabbit hole of guilt again. Anyone relate?

We're human. It's normal to feel good when we're close to each other. You love your daughter and she loves you. It was a sweet moment. We may have flickers of sexual feelings with physical contact with people who are not sexual partners. That's how we're wired. It's okay.
