Hi, new to this forum. I am thinking of trying ketamine for OCD. Has anyone been treated with ketamine and if so, was it effective?

Never heard of that.
Yes. My partner takes it for depression and OCD. It works for depression, less so for his OCD. 😊
There are studies that appear to bear out ketamine as a possible treatment for OCD. Some clinicians are prescribing it.
But ask your psychiatrist about it. Do not, I repeat not, not not, get it off the internet or from some other dodgy source. There are questions about whether you're getting the real deal, to start with, not to mention dosage and monitoring.
Here's a link to an article from Stanford University that might help.

Thanks for the info...Yes, I have been very careful regarding from whom/where to get ketmine therapy. After some careful research, I think I have found someone reputable. It will be online therapy and I will be using an online pharmacy, which I have checked out. Hopefully, ketamine will help my OCD.
Please let us know what your experience is.
I did ketamine therapy via a doctor a couple years ago. Had absolutely no impact for me and I found the experience kind of scary because you are really out of reality during the full dosage period. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend it, but if the OCD is severe, there is no harm in trying.
