ROCD clarification

ROCD-I’m wondering if fixating on my wife falling in love with another person, figuring out that she really doesn’t love me and that she really loves someone else is related to this type of OCD. It’s a pervasive thought that continues to come up despite reassurance.

Hello, I am NOT an expert in this OCD. However, if it is OCD, try not to get reassurance. This makes the OCD stronger.

If you feel the compulsion to ask her these questions, try not to. If it’s becoming physically hard not to ask them, it’s probably OCD. If you feel the need to ask the question a certain amount of times, odd or even numbers, it probably is OCD. It can be hard combating OCD, it’s compulsions (the drive to ask these questions), and these thoughts. And I’m sure you are already fighting these thoughts already. Maybe with this explanation, you know better and try a different way in tackling this issue.

That’s all I have to say. Sorry for not being an expert in this OCD and I wish you the best.
